Google News API: get articles and real URLs as JSON

Google does not offer a public Google News API. What it does publish is the Google News RSS feed, which gives you titles, publishers and dates, but its article links are encoded news.google.com redirects, not the publisher's address. The Google News Scraper reads that feed over plain HTTP, decodes the real article URL and returns clean JSON, so you can call it like an API.

The request waits for the run and returns the articles as a JSON array. Use queries for keywords (Google operators such as site:reuters.com work), topics for sections such as BUSINESS, and language and country to pick the edition.

Limits to know

Google News RSS returns about 100 articles per query. For more, split the date range (dateFrom, dateTo, splitByDay).
Full text comes from the publisher's page, so paywalled sites give a teaser or nothing.
